Exploring and learning in the outdoors is an integral part of our undergrad program. Many of our courses incorporate field trips into the curriculum, and we also offer courses that revolve around week-long geologic excursions to interesting locations (our Death Valley trip is open to all underclassmen). The department also collaborates with the Earth & Environmental Science Club to plan fun day trips and camping trips for all students.
