Special Concentration in Environmental Science for E3B
The department sponsors a special concentration in Environmental Science for Environmental Biology majors. It allows for the freedom to take a variety of courses in environmental science that support the major in Environmental Biology. A minimum of 31.5 points must be taken to complete the concentration.
Two science or mathematics courses in Chemistry, Physics, Calculus, and/or Biology for a minimum of 6 points.
Four additional courses in environmental science at the 3000 level or above for a minimum of 12 points.
Advanced courses used to fulfill the major in Environmental Biology cannot also count toward the fulfillment of the special concentration in Environmental Science.
Note: EESC 4930 - Earth's Oceans & Atmosphere does not count towards fulfilling the concentration's advanced courses requirement.
