Bio

I am a Ph.D. student at Columbia University in the Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences. I am interested in Ocean & Climate Physics, particularly in the ocean’s role in past, modern, and future climates. During my time at Columbia, I hope to explore the ocean-atmosphere interactions and their effects on climate variability through paleo and modern data and climate models.

I graduated from Smith College in 2022 with cum laude and B.A. in Geosciences and Mathematics. I also received highest honors for my thesis titled “Reconstructing Past Temperature From Lake Sediments at Darwin Crater, Tasmania, Australia Using the brGDGT Biomarker Proxy.”
