My academic journey began as a geology major at Amherst College, and I have since joined Lamont's geochemistry division. I study the paleoclimatology of the Eastern Equatorial Pacific, specifically regarding the El NiƱo Southern Oscillation. My research focuses on thermocline reconstruction using geochemical proxies found in the ocean's sedimentary record, such as oxygen isotopes and Uranium-series trace elements.
