Bio
Charlotte is a PhD candidate at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory & Columbia University. As a part of the extremes group, she works with Radley Horton researching the impacts of severe weather. Charlotte holds a Master of Science from Dartmouth College, where she studied the relationship between extreme precipitation and flooding in the northeastern United States. Previously, she earned her Bachelor of Science from McGill University, majoring in Earth System Science and completing a thesis on the use of machine learning to identify intermittent streamflow at a global scale. Before starting her PhD, she spent several years working for Environment and Climate Change Canada. Broadly, her interests encompass the impacts of climate change global hydroclimate. Outside of work, Charlotte loves going for bike rides, finding new ice cream spots, writing, and trying all sorts of crafts.
