Cate Humphries is a PhD student in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Columbia University. She is a partner student with the American Museum of Natural History advised by Dr. Nathalie Goodkin. She studies coral geochemistry and paleoclimate and oceanography in the western tropical Pacific. Cate has spent time working as a political campaign coordinator and a high school teacher/outdoor education instructor.
