Bio

A PhD student from Madagascar, Conducting research under the mentorship of Dr. Folarin Kolawole in the Structural Geology Laboratory, which is housed in the Seismology building.

Being African is not a barrier to pursuing a passion for science. In fact, the diverse perspectives and unique challenges faced by Africans can drive innovation and inspire groundbreaking research. Africa's rich history of intellectual achievements and its vast natural resources provide a fertile ground for scientific exploration. Despite potential obstacles such as limited access to resources or infrastructure, Africans continue to make significant contributions to various fields of science, from engineering to geology and beyond. As a Malagasy scientist, I want to prove that determination, curiosity, and resilience can overcome any challenge and make a lasting global impact.
