Bio
Andrew is a PhD student working with Dr. Dhruv Balwada at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. His research interests are in (sub)mesoscale physical oceanography, ocean mixing, and the ocean's role in the climate system. He is currently studying variance production, diffusivity, and heat transport using Argo float data. Andrew is also interested in climate education and advocacy; he is on the Youth Advisory Board at The Wild Center, a science and nature museum in the Adirondacks.
