Fields of interest:
I'm best labeled as a geomorphologist. Landscapes are, in part, a product of erosion, and my work aims to decipher clues about the patterns and rates of erosion recorded in landforms.
Erosion is especially dynamic in rugged landscapes, so as a geomorphologist I'm particularly drawn to high-mountain regions. I'm currently focused on a few tropical mountain belts, specifically those that show signs of glacial erosion. My work uses a combination of terrrestrial cosmogenic nuclide methods and remote sensing to describe the timing and nature of glacial erosion in these landscapes.
