Biography

Caitlin received a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science from Columbia University in May 2013. She joined the Polar Geophysics Group at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University in 2021 as a graduate student working with Kirsty Tinto. Her research interests include modeling bathymetry and developing new geologic interpretations of the regions beneath ice shelves in the polar regions using airborne and marine geophysical data in combination with ground-based onshore geophysical and geological data. She is involved in the Bed Classes and Operation IceBridge projects.
