Biography
My research focuses on reconstructing and quantifying carbon fluxes in the deep ocean during periods of global climate change. Within the Hönisch lab group, I use the B/Ca ratio proxy, alongside others, to reconstruct changes in seawater carbonate chemistry and environmental parameters over the Cenozoic. This allows us to explore the internal climate system's response to perturbations in the past, which help inform model projections of future climate change.
