Biography

My research focuses on reconstructing and quantifying carbon fluxes between Earth reservoirs during periods of global climate change. Within the Hönisch lab group, I use the boron isotope proxy, alongside others, to reconstruct changes in seawater carbonate chemistry and environmental parameters over a range of timescales from the Pleistocene to the Paleocene. This allows for investigation of the internal climate system's response to change in the past, which help to inform projections of global climate changes we face in the future.
